This course focuses on a revision of the underlying pathophysiology of key equine endocrinopathies, and a review of the most recent literature on the diagnosis and management of these conditions.

Learning Outcomes 

By successfully completing this course, you will be able to:

  • Have a thorough working comprehension of the underlying pathophysiology of the common equine endocrinopathies to facilitate clinical management of these common conditions of horses
  • Fully comprehend the most appropriate application and interpretation of clinical diagnostic tests for common equine endocrinopathies
  • Be able to develop a treatment plan for common equine endocrinopathies based upon the most contemporary available evidence.

  2. Equine pituitary pars intermedia
  3. Equine hyperlipaemia
  4. Hypertrophic Osteodystrophy (big head)
